Sydney Badminton Club (SBC) is an established badminton academy from Sydney Sports Club. (SSC)

We have collaborated with TUMOU academy, headed by Setyana Mapasa, 2021 Australian Olympic Player.

She represented Australia in the 2020 Olympic games held in Tokyo. Won sliver medal at 2013 BWF World Junior Championships mixed team when she represented Indonesia. Competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. She was four times women’s doubles Oceania champions from 2017–2020 with her partner Gronya Somerville, also two times champion in the mixed doubles event in 2017 and 2018 alongside Sawan Serasinghe.

The academy offers training for all levels from beginner to advanced players. Our impressive team of coaches have playing credentials at state and international level and are dedicated to improving your skills whilst promoting sportsmanship and integrity of the game.
